Krogan Battlemaster on Gold, Katana X with Shredder & Bayonet, Rage specced out for melee, Queen's Don't Stop Me Now blasting out of my computer, melee only. Until turrets show up. But Vanguard does kick ass!
Human Engineers are blessed with Combat Drones, Overload, and Incinerate - Barriers are the only thing that can really fuck them up, so Phantoms are unpleasant. Turrets are pretty damn easy though. Overload the shield, incinerate the armor.
Everything you need to know on playing a vanguard. Oh, and maximize your weight capacity/lower weapon weight. Also, shockwave as a human is a complete waste of points. It can't begin to compare to the stuff in the other 4 trees.
The only thing new in ME3 is Nova. Nova synergizes completely with charge, and is therefore a very, very effective combo once you get the timing down. You don't want to nova without a charge ready to follow it up
Heh usually I'm more sniper-type (yay for infiltrators ^^) but on multi my main char is vanguard and I absolutely love her! Other classes are fun too but nothing beats vanguard's sheer craziness ^^ I always laugh that very vanguard is at least a little bit insane with that "suicidal" style of fighting. Maybe it's because I feel the urge of maniacal giggle every time fly like a living cannon ball on some unlucky bastrad
Yeah I wanted to try Vanguard but I got addicted with my soldier character. My main is Vanguard though and I'll DEFINITELY be playing the mutliplayer with one. Time to put over 4 years of kicking ass up close and personal to use.
